Chic+Nawdie was a stationery studio run by Nhung Le, a Hanoi-born Brooklyn-based freelance illustrator.
Nhung started Chic+Nawdie in 2014 when she was still working as a graphic designer. In 2015 she quit her job to run Chic+Nawdie full-time, making greeting cards and art prints from her colorful and amusing illustration. Chic+Nawdie products have been sold in stores across America and overseas.
At the end of 2018, Nhung started doing freelance illustration. By the end of 2019, she has worked for The New Yorker, The New Times, NBC News, Entertainment Weekly, among other clients. She now decides to focus all her time on freelance illustration and wrap up her stationery business. From now on, Chic+Nawdie will no longer have greeting cards and will only sell Nhung’s limited selection of art prints.
