Upper East Side Weekend: Aesop and Kimono at the Met

Continue the Out of Frame series, we have here some snapshots of our past weekend. We spent our beautiful Saturday sampling some products at the Aesop store on Madison Avenue then walked to the Met for the Kimono exhibition. I have always been an admirer of Aesop products as well as their exquisite approach to design. Visiting their stores is always an experience. Chic+Nawdie have put Aesop’s Sage & Zinc Facial Hydrating Cream – SPF15 in our Gift Guide / Wish List here. They have 7 stores in New York. Non of them is particularly spacious but all of them are beautifully designed with distinctive characteristics. After Aesop, we head to the Met. As always, there are so many exhibitions and activities going on at the Met you can spend all day. However, we were there especially for the Kimono: A Modern History exhibition. The history part was impressive but the visual part was even more spectacular (at least to me!)

Have a great week!

Love,

Chic+Nawdie
